An excellent copy of this historical account of the war in Europe and also somewhat of a personal memoir of Eisenhower’s; this is the first edition released after the limited edition, missing the jacket. The book is in very good or better condition with light rubbing to the edges, a mild looseness to the binding (the binding still completely intact and square), a previous owner’s inscription to the verso of the free end paper, and some mild staining to the bookplate, probably a slight bleed from the map on the front paste down. Overall, a very presentable copy with the significant enhancement of the personal bookplate; this edition somewhat scarce, particularly signed; an important addition to any presidential or World War II collection.
