By Charles Dudley Warner; numbered 196 of 512 copies; includes all 25 volumes; each measures 8.75 by 6 inches; hardcover bound in original half leather and marbled boards; gilted boards and spine; gilted and cut top edge; remaining edges are deckled; marbled endpapers; illustrations throughout; Volume I in very good condition with light rubbing to the boards, a small portion of the top of the spine missing, splitting down the center of the front endpapers (causing splitting down the top right edge of the spine measuring 3 inches and the front free endpaper and front flyleaf being detached), and light foxing on the pages; and Volumes II through XXV in good to fine condition with minor rubbing on the boards and light foxing on the pages and about a third of the volumes with the boards and spine detached and heavy dampstaining to the bottom portion of the edges.
