For sale is a truly rare printed poem on an 8×11 heavy sheet originally titled ” Courage” but over this original title Markham has pasted a slip on which he has hand-written a new title, ” The Ode to Columbus” and has signed and inscribed it at the bottom, Your Friend, Edwin Markham, Staten Island, N. Where he had moved in 1901 and remained until his death in 1940. Unique Edwin Markham autographed collectible (see the pics for the title revision held up to a light).
