Collector’s ink note on verso dates signature: December 21, 1935. After concentrating on stage acting for the next fifteen years, he began appearing frequently on TV playhouses and an occasional series in the 1950s. He played character roles in the movies Fail Safe (1964) and The Group (1966). While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen. Corners worn and creased.
