ANN MILLER Youthful image in ruffles, with a flower in her hair, inscribed to collector Saul Goodman Photograph inscribed and signed: “To Saul/Ann Miller/November 12, 1938″. Collector’s ink stamp on verso confirms signature date. Her vibrant personality, great legs and her tap dancing, won a seven year contract with R. At She played Ginger Roger’s dancing partner in Stage Door (1937). She danced with Fred Astaire in Easter Parade (1948) and Bob Fosse in Kiss Me Kate (1953). In the 1980s, she costarred on Broadway with Mickey Rooney in Sugar Babies, and then toured nationally for a total of nine years. In Columbia’s Hey Rookie (1944), Miller set a tap dance record of 550 taps-per-minute in her climactic musical number.
