ONSLOW STEVENS Vintage photo, inscribed in person to collector Saul Goodman Photograph inscribed and signed: “To Saul/Onslow Stevens”. Collector’s ink stamp on verso dates signature: December 26, 1936. He first appeared on the silver screen in 1931 and spent the next 31 years in mostly character roles. He did star in several movies, including Aramis in The Three Musketeers (1935) and a prominent role in the cult SF classic Them! Among the best known pictures with Stevens in a supporting role were The Charge at Feather River (1935) and The Ten Commandments (1956). He appeared on TV through 1961, mostly in Westerns. While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen. Corners worn and creased. Lightly toned around edges.
