B/w, 5×7 overall, image 4¾x5 (one surface). Educated in a Mexican convent, sultry Dolores Del Rio made her American acting debut in the 1925 silent movie Joanna and landed her first starring role three years later in Ramona. Del Rio did not return to Hollywood until playing Elvis Presley’s Indian mother in Flaming Star in 1960 ; she later appeared in the drama Cheyenne Autumn. Creased at left corners.
