After an outstanding collegiate career at the University of Chicago, Berwanger became the first-ever player drafted in the inaugural NFL Draft in 1936. First edition, measures 8.75 by 6, and in very good condition with minor wearing to the boards, lacking pages 269 to 300 as indicated by the pencil notation on the front free endpaper (however, the missing pages seem to never have been bound in the book as there is no tearing present), and the dustjacket containing paperloss along the borders and tearing (with a large tear along the spine).
