Collector’s ink stamp on verso dates signature: November 2, 1938. English-born actor and singer Dennis King b. He was Gaylord Ravenal in the 1932 revival of Show Boat. He appeared in a few films of the 1930s, including The Vagabond King (1930, reprising a stage role). He also appeared in a few television plays, including a turn as Pontius Pilate in a Hallmark Hall of Fame production (1961).
